Global Supply Chain Professional Development Committee


Overview

The Global Supply Chain Professional Development Committee is a consortium of industry, university, and professional association leaders working together to define current and emerging global supply chain talent requirements, with the purpose to adapt, adopt, or create curriculums and programs to fulfill supply chain talent needs. Hosted by the Supply Chain Council, the Committee is industry funded, with all research and program results of the Committee's work made available to the public via this web forum.
Charter
The Global Supply Chain Professional Development Committee (hereafter referred to as the “Committee”) is an industry/academic consortium established in 2007 to explore, research and address industry concerns about professional development comprising skills, competencies, capabilities and supply of current and future global requirements for supply chain professionals including hiring, development and retention (hereafter referred to collectively as “Talent”).
