Monty Boyle

Mr. Monty Boyle is the Director of Supply Chain Management and Process Improvement for Sirius Solutions in Houston, TX.  Mr. Boyle has consulted with top companies in the United States, Hong Kong and China with projects encompassing supply-chain assessments, financial/operating leverage optimization, cycle time/velocity improvements and SCOR education.

Prior to joining Sirius Solutions, Mr. Boyle was with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Cap Gemini Ernst & Young and Arthur Andersen. He was the (COO) Chief Operating Officer of North Star Chemical Corporation; a company specializing in surfactants.  His responsibilities included formulating and monitoring operational objectives, management action plans, financial reporting, inventory control, budgeting and forecasting.  He also performed supply-chain process re-engineering and redesign; strategic intent, capability, and situational analysis; and developed anticipatory change management plans.

Client and industry experience includes the following areas – Oil & Gas (Upstream, Midstream & Downstream), Seismic, Manufacturing, Retail, Grocery & Food Distribution/Production, Software Development, Car Rental, Banking, Financing, Chemicals and Recycling.

Bob Daniell

As a results driven practitioner who is equally comfortable on the operations floor or in the boardroom, Bob Daniell has provided practitioner and senior Supply Chain leadership while employed with Johnson & Johnson, Dun & Bradstreet and Siemens as well as for the Department of Defense. In helping to introduce SCOR to Siemens, Bob set the foundation for Siemens winning The Supply Chain Council’s inaugural Global Supply Chain Excellence Award. Bob has served as a SCOR Technical Committee Chair and has chartered and facilitated the original convergence efforts for SCOR, Lean and Six Sigma. He has personally led over 50 supply chain process projects including 14 SCOR implementations with the most recent being the Global Consolidation of Automotive Electronic Product Warranty Repair Service Centers for a Tier One Automotive supplier.

He has coached and led SCOR-driven initiatives for several USAF Weapons Systems, instructed SCOR techniques and tools for Air Force Material Command Immersion Training, and helped optimize the US Army’s Conventional Ammunition contract planning and acquisition. Bob is APICS certified a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and a Supply Chain Council certified SCOR Master Instructor.

As a Principal Consultant within SRA International, Inc. Life Cycle Management Practice, Bob continues to deliver SCOR, Lean Six Sigma Supply Chain Excellence Convergence solutions to the Department of Defense and commercial industry. Bob is an Airborne Ranger, co-founder of Lightning Lacrosse, a minority owner in the New Jersey Pride Professional Lacrosse team, a certified NJSIAA Lacrosse Referee and a contributing writer for Officiating.com. Bob has been married for 31 years, has three children and resides near Princeton, New Jersey.

Carsten Dittrich

Carsten Dittrich is Founder and CEO of Ankida, www.ankida.dk, which main focus is enabling SME’s to connect to superior performance. This is mainly achieved through expert counselling in the fields of SCM and OM, Problem-Based Learning methods and project management coaching.
 
With a background as a Systems & Manufacturing Engineer, Carsten’s ten+ years of practitioner experience in SCM and OM covers a wide variety of industries e.g. The Royal Danish Army, Carl Hansen & Son, Damixa ApS and others.
Carsten is a SCC qualified SCOR® instructor and has lead SCC workshops in Germany & Finland.
He’s a current member of the xCOR development team and the Green SCOR SIG of the Supply Chain council. Carsten is a frequent Speaker at SCM and OM conferences, and currently he holds a position as an Assistant Professor at the University of Southern Denmark.

Ricardo Ekerman

Mr. Ricardo Ekerman is a Partner at Itelogy Partners (www.itelogy.com), a Brazilian boutique management consulting firm. He has over 13 years of experience in management consulting having worked for top tier firms. Ricardo was also Director of Strategic Planning for Pepsico Brazil for 3 years.

He started his carrier on developing mathematical models for manufacturing and distribution processes utilizing operations research tools such as linear an integer programming and heuristic modeling.

Mr. Ekerman has worked as management consultant in projects within several industries including, pharmaceuticals, agribusiness, consumer goods, textile, entertainment, publishing, construction, automotive, base industries and private pension.

Consulting activities include logistics and supply chain strategy, corporate strategic planning, financial modeling, M&A support, process redesign, organizational efficiency, among others.

Mr. Ekerman has an aeronautical engineering degree from ITA (Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica) and a Masters in Engineering from Cornell University with focus in operations research and industrial engineering. Additionally, Ricardo has taken management specialization courses at the University of Chicago, Michigan and Wharton.

Sam Fayez

Sam Fayez is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Central Florida (UCF) and the director of supply chain solutions at Productivity Apex, Inc. (PAI). He holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from UCF. In his doctoral research, he developed the first comprehensive Supply Chain Knowledge base as a scalable Ontology. The ontology is an automated supply chain definition and modeling methodology that uses the SCOR model as its core. At UCF he teaches Supply Chain and Logistics Engineering courses and serves on Ph.D. committees for Supply Chain Management related Doctoral Dissertations.  

At PAI, he directed several projects and initiatives for government and private organizations. The projects ranges from research to development in the areas of supply chain and logistics, modeling and simulation, technology assessment, interdependencies modeling and analysis, IDEF modeling, multi-criteria decision making, and economic value added analysis. Dr. Fayez is leading a multi-year SCOR-based project for NASA to model, simulate, and analyze the longest supply chain known to man-kind: the Space Exploration Supply Chain. Dr. Fayez is serving on the SCC Technical Development Steering Committee (TDSC).Dr. Fayez worked at UCF as a Research Associate in the area of Supply Chain, Information Intensive Projects, Modeling and Simulation. Dr. Fayez has also several years of experience as Industrial Engineer in North America, Europe, and the Middle-East.

Marc Foret

With over 13 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Marc Foret held several operational and tactical management positions across Planning, Sourcing, Manufacturing, and Logistics, both in local as well as in Regional and Global functions.

Marc earned a master’s degree in Commercial engineering (Business Administration) at UCL University/IAG Business School in Belgium. Marc is a SCC certified SCOR® Instructor, as well as, Apics CPIM & CSCP certified and instructor for both certifications. Marc is also speaker at Supply Chain conferences internationally.
Marc has been using the SCOR model to drive multiple Supply Chain improvement projects in various scopes: Intra-company or End-to-End collaboration approach: including key suppliers and/or key customers.

Joseph (Joe) Francis

Joseph (Joe) Francis is Executive Director for the Supply Chain Council (SCC). In this capacity,
Mr. Francis supports the design and delivery of education and training in use of the Supply-Chain Operation
Reference model (SCOR™) and related business process models.
Mr. Francis is a former chairman of the Supply Chain Council SCORBoard and managing director of a
business process company focused on process team development, business process management
programs, and business process management research and education. 
Prior to establishing his current company, Mr. Francis was the senior director of Hewlett-Packard’s (HP)
Business Process Management (BPM) Services for HP Technology Solutions Group, and senior director of HP’s BPM Services for the company’s CIO. He is one of the key founders of BPM at HP, having created and managed functions overseeing the universal company standards, methods and frameworks for BPM, as well as having created more than two dozen teams for business-unit and functional-unit BPM programs (including HP’s Sarbanes-Oxley 404 program) and global teams in HP’s consulting and integration business.
His SCOR related work with HP clients included dozens of companies from a base as diverse as Volvo, SASOL, Samsung, Daimler-Chrysler, and Dupont among others.   While at HP and Compaq, his SCOR-based BPM teams accrued more than $6 billion in BPM program value through working capital reduction at Compaq, inventory reduction, Compaq/HP Merger value capture support,
supply-chain performance improvements, global sales process performance improvements and product design/launch improvements. The global BPM activity that Mr. Francis oversaw was a direct offshoot of the work he undertook directing the BPM and IT merger activities for HP and Compaq in the area of supply chain using SCOR.
Mr. Francis is an acknowledged expert on framework-based BPM with a particular focus on SCOR and related frameworks with groups including the Supply-Chain Council, Brainstorm, DCI, IQPC, Delphi, and Open Group. He has advised companies as diverse as Air Products, IBM, PRTM, Cendant, Home Depot and Ericsson on methodologies for SCOR and framework-based process management within their company’s enterprises, and has lectured on or participated in research on framework-based with University of Houston Bauer College of Business, the Georgia Tech Logistics Institute, and the Gordon Institute of Business Science. He has been published often through BPTrends on the exploitation and techniques of framework-based BPM in large enterprises.

Michael Ginap

With over 20 years of experience in Supply Chain Management in the process industry as well as in automotive and logistics services, Michael held several operational and strategic management positions across Planning, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Logistics and Customer Service, both in local as well as in Regional and Global functions.

Michael earned a master’s degree (Diplom-Kaufmann) in Business Administration at Mannheim and Frankfurt/Main Universities in Germany. He became a member of the Supply Chain Council (SCC) in 2000, and since served on the Europe Chapter Leadership Team, now as its Treasurer and until recently as its Chairman. Michael is a SCC certified SCOR® Instructor and a frequent speaker at Supply Chain conferences internationally.

Michael is founder of Avineo, offering diagnostics, training and coaching as well as expert counselling in the field of Supply Chain Management and Customer Service Excellence to companies from various industries.

Caspar Hunsche

Caspar is the original author of the Design Chain and Customer Chain reference models. He has worked with companies in different industries (high tech, chemical, transportation, government, manufacturing, automotive).

Caspar spent most of his professional career in supply chain operational roles: logistics, supply/demand planning, management reporting and central back-office. He has led, guided and/or supported dozens of change programs on strategic, tactical and operational level. He led the supply chain information systems merger planning in the HP/Compaq merger.

Caspar is a strong advocate of standard reference models. He has published articles and briefs and speaks frequently on the benefits and how-to-use. He has trained many process owners and consultants around the world in the effective use of standard reference models. Caspar continues to support the development of the DCOR and CCOR reference models and integration with the SCOR model as a member of the special interest groups of the Supply-Chain Council.

Alyda le Hane

Alyda has over 20 years experience in logistics and distribution solutions and more recently Supply-Chain Management (8 years). Alyda has extensive experience in many industries and has worked extensively in the re-engineering of supply chains for the pharmaceutical environment. She is the Chairperson for the Southern Africa Chapter of the Supply Chain Council (SCC)

Other industries in which she has earned extensive supply chain experience in include automotive and retail.

Other experience include supply chain related training, coaching and management within a sales environment for the UTi WW Inc.

Alyda regularly speaks and trains on the subject of supply chain management in South Africa and abroad.

Alyda did Strategic Value Assessments (SVA) for Mr Price; Afrox; Energizer; Daimler Chrysler P&A; Bayer Diagnostics; Comparex SA; John Deere; MAN Truck & Bus; Dimension Data (GAM Solution which subsequently won the Logistics Achiever Award). The SVA included the follow-up and execution of the solution - primarily in the international environment.
Alyda is the Supply Chain Management Trainer for the International Institute of Research (IIR). She is the author of the training material used.

William Lombaerts

 
William is born in Leuven (Belgium) in 1962 and father of Ludwig (10) and Christophe (18) and married with Karen. 

William has started his career in the airfreight business but moved quickly to the high-tech and telecom business where, as supply chain manager, he led his teams to improve performance and proved that good supply chain management can lead to a competitive advantage.
 
With more than 20 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, William has proven to be an added value for companies on their path to excellence performance of their supply chains.
 
He is founder and Managing Director of HORUS Consulting which main focus is to improve supply chain performances of organizations, by providing expertise and sharing knowledge with management teams and their staff. With the broad offering of services in projects, training and interim management, HORUS has been able to support and guide companies in different industries to achieve improved business results, using the SCOR model.
 
William is also president of the Logistics Steering Team of VIB (a Belgian non for profit organization for Purchasing and Logistics). The team defines guidelines for VIB to improve the services to their members and organizes knowledge-sharing events (company visits and seminars) for members.

Takashi Oishi

Mr. Takashi Oishi is a SCM planning manager of NEC Solutions IS department which has the functions to research and develop NEC's PC and Computer SCM strategy, to conduct cross-functional SCM improvement and implementation projects and to standardize internal process improvement methodologies. Mr. Oishi recently focuses on introducing SCOR model and methodology to NEC as a part of SCM planner's practice.

Mr. Oishi is a co-vice chair of SCC Japan chapter and has been conducting a "SCOR workshop in Japanese" implementation committee for SCC Japan chapter members. He is a member of SCC's PLAN technical committee.

Mr. Oishi started his carrier as system engineer in NEC's solution division. After several experiences of MES, PDM and SCM project for NEC customers, he was in charge of business planning and operation of PDM and ERP software PKG.

Mr. Oishi graduated KEIO University, major in engineering and measurement.

John Paul

Mr. John Paul is the Director of iCognitive Pte. John has over twenty years of experience within supply-chain management and operational improvement in manufacturing and services. Before creating iCognitive Pte in 2002, John worked for Gintic and Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology as Senior Research Fellow, supply-chain Management, Center Manager and supply-chain Research Scientist. Prior to his assignment in Asia, he was managing several supply-chain Management projects in Europe, e.g., Digital Equipment Corporation Europe, Du-Pont, Danzas, DHL European Rim and Thomson.

Since based in Singapore he, together with the SCM Centre, has successfully implemented supply-chain Management in the local SMEs, PLEs and MNCs.

In the past few years he has written various SCM-articles and lectured in different European Universities (Paris 12 and ISLI in Bordeaux, France) and in Singapore at the Nanyang Technology University.

John is a current member of the SCC Technical Development Steering Committee (TDSC). From 1990 to 1995, John was President of the Society of Logistics Engineers, Paris Chapter. Since 1999 he is the founder and current treasure of the Supply-Chain Council-South East Asia Chapter.

Jolanda Pretorius

Jolanda Pretorius has over 18 years business optimisation and process improvement experience across various industries. Her area of specialty is Business Intelligence and Process Management.  
Jolanda Pretorius was the Manager and founder of the Supply Chain Business Process Optimisation Centre of Excellence in Sasol.  Using SCOR as a framework, she developed a project methodology for business optimisation within Sasol Supply Chains. This methodology covers aspects of Strategy formulation, Business Process Optimisation, Organisational structuring, Automation and IT requirements; all using SCOR as a fundamental backbone and integration framework. Through Supply Chain projects executed in the last four years the success of using these techniques developed was overwhelming.
She is currently responsible for Continuous Improvement in the Sasol Technology business area.
Jolanda is also a member on the leadership team of the South African Chapter of the Supply Chain Council and also lectures at the University of Johannesburg in the subject of Performance Management in a Logistics environment.

Toshiaki Saegusa

Mr. Toshiaki Saegusa is a chief consultant of Japan Business Create (JBC) which is a consulting firm working mainly for the manufacturing companies in Japan.

Mr. Saegusa has been taking a role for these 2 years, as a leader, to conduct SCOR Working Group which started with the missions to study, understand and deploy SCOR as well as to make a translation into Japanese. He is also a sub-leader a of supply-chain Benchmarking consortium and facilitates benchmarking activities based on SCOR Metrics. He consults SCM way of total company re-engineering for JBC's client companies by using SCOR. Through these experiences, he has obtained an useful knowledge and understanding of "how to use SCOR for Japanese companies" and deployed these points to SCC Japan members for more diffusion of SCOR.

Prior to joining into JBC, Mr. Saegusa was a manager of marketing & sales for Kobe steel Co., Ltd. Before that, he was a planner of corporate / division's information strategy. These kinds of experiences made him recognized a significance of customer relationship, business process and performance measurements. The experience and knowledge have become useful for his being a SCOR instructor.

Mr. Saegusa holds a master's degree in industrial & management engineering from Tokyo Institute of Technology.

Ignacio Sanchez

Ignacio Sanchez Chiappe
With over 30 years of working experience as civil engineer and professor, Mr. Ignacio Sanchez-Chiappe is one of the founders and director of IEEC, Instituto de Estudios para la Excelencia Competitiva, School of Supply Chain Management and Logistics in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In this capacity Mr. Sanchez has designed and developed different programs and courses for professional certifications in Argentina, Chile and Uruguay. Prior to working at IEEC, his field of expertise relates to having worked as Civil Engineer both in the design and construction of Logistics Parks, Ports, Freeways and Highways. After joining IEEC, Mr. Sanchez has developed many programs and international conferences and seminars in topics related to Supply Chain Management, Logistics and Strategic Purchasing. He also runs the IEEC Forum in Supply Chain Management where non-competing companies gather to share experiences in the applications of related best practices. John Sells

John brings to the Supply Chain Council over 25 years of Aerospace and Defense acquisition, logistics, and technology experience, including performance based logistics, supply chain management, and strategic business planning. While serving within the DOD, John developed Performance Based Logistics programs and policies, as well as implementing transformational supply chain strategies cited in various DOD logistics guidance documents concerning Life Cycle Logistics and Public Private Partnerships. John often works with DOD Senior Executives on supply chain management initiatives, helping the DOD use SCOR for organizational alignment and team building.   Recently, John led an effort within a United States Army Major Command that utilized SCOR for determining their best organizational construct, resulting in the largest SCOR effort to date within the DOD.
 
Currently, John is the Senior Manager within Focused Logistics at the Lockheed Martin Corporation, working on developing advanced concepts for materiel availability and operational readiness through strategic Industrial Base initiatives, shaping the tools and technologies for an enterprise approach to DOD supply chain management and life cycle logistics.

Dan Swartwood

Dan Swartwood is Director of Process and Supply Chain Design for Satellite Logistics Group located in Houston, Texas. In this role, Dan is responsible for leading supply chain and business improvement projects, both internally and externally. He is an experienced change-leader in the areas of supply chain management, quality improvement, unit cost reduction and transformation. He is a specialist in supply chain analysis resulting in the identification of major strategic and tactical improvement opportunities that can be tied directly back to the P&L. Dan has been involved in a wide range of major supply chain projects in industries such as Aerospace & Defense, Industrial, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, and High-tech. He has written numerous articles and been active in speaking at various events. He is a trained practitioner in Lean and Six Sigma and is Certified as a Quality Engineer with ASQ, Certified in CPIM through APICS, and a Certified SCOR Instructor with the Supply Chain Council.

Taylor Wilkerson

Taylor Wilkerson is a Research Fellow with LMI where he works in the Supply Chain Management group. Since coming to LMI, Taylor has focused on improving public sector supply chain management through analysis and application of commercial best practices. He has also conducted strategic planning and information systems analysis for various clients. Taylor was recently a member of the Supply-Chain Council Aerospace and Defense Special Industry Group Steering Committee and has contributed to various Council project teams. In addition, Taylor is a certified SCOR model instructor. Taylor has a BE in Mechanical Engineering from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland.

Peter Bolstorff is President and CEO of SCE Limited, www.scelimited.com, which supports "do-it-yourself" supply chain performance through education, coaching, and process expertise.  His book, Supply Chain Excellence: A Handbook for Dramatic Improvement Using the SCOR Model, was published through AMACOM Publishing, 2003; his current project (value chain excellence) will be available Q4 2007. 

Peter has over 50 supply chain improvement projects using the Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) model under his belt and is considered an expert in supply chain management and SCOR application.  Peter’s practitioner experience includes Supply Chain and Operations leadership with 3M and Imation in the functional areas of customer service, purchasing, manufacturing, engineering, and order fulfillment.  As a former technical chair and two term member of the Board of Directors with the Supply-Chain Council, he has been involved with the development of the SCOR model since its inception.  Peter lives in Stillwater, Minnesota with his wife, Cary, and two girls, Kristi and Jenni.

Enrique Carrillo

Enrique Carrillo is the founding Managing Partner at Azurian SCM LLC (www.azurian.com) which specializes in delivering SCM consulting services to Latin American companies. During his career he has excel at being a catalyst in developing and implementing progressive business strategies leveraging IT intelligence to gain competitive lead. Raising the standards of organizational leadership and executive management through high level professionalism and focus on results.

Enrique offers 15-plus years' success driving vision and executive-level leadership for Fortune 500 multinational organizations and global supply chain networks such as IBM, Daimler-Chrysler, HP, Tatung, Michelin, GM, Phillips Electronics, Nortel Networks, Johnson & Johnson and GE. He is a veteran in management consulting, professional services, manufacturing and technology industries. Globally focused career with significant experience in Supply Chain Management, Change Management, executive leadership, and building and growing global business units.
 
As a former technical member and three term member of the Supply Chain Council Board of Directors in which he served as Chair (2007), Vice Chair (2006) and Treasurer (2005), he has been involved with the development of the SCOR model since practically its inception.  He is currently a certified SCOR instructor. 
 
Enrique is an in demand keynote speaker at Supply Chain and Logistics events in Asia, Europe, Latin America and North America; topics include Supply Chain Operations Reference-model (SCOR), Workforce Management, On Demand Strategies, Private Exchanges, Value Propositions and Best Practices.
 
Enrique holds an MBA degree from the Owen School of Management at Vanderbilt University, a Certificate in Latin American Business from the Warrington School of Management from the University of Florida and a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
