2010 Supply Chain World South East Asia Overview
This year's theme was Unlocking Real Opportunities in Your Supply Chains.
Supply Chain World South East Asia included a variety of industry presentations from the region demonstrating the supply chain challenges and accomplishments in this part of the world, as well as India and China. Many presentations and discussions demonstrated how the Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR®) model has been implemented in various situations to yield amazing results. Some were insightful projections to help navigate future supply chain challenges.
Industries represented include IT, telecommunications, logistics, oil & gas, automotive, aerospace, retail, mining, manufacturing, and the world’s 4th largest white goods manufacturer. Speakers included Mr. Teo Siong Seng, Vice Chairman of the Singapore Business Federation and nominated member of Parliament, who attended as the Guest of Honour, Shawn Tay and Dr. Apiruk Detwarasiti from Hewlett-Packard, Lars Magnusson from Ericsson AB, and Dr. Christopher Holmes from IDC Manufacturing and Retail Insights Asia/Pacific.
