Supply Chain Council's new Middle East Chapter held its first official meeting to discuss the chapter structure and leadership team.
The Supply Chain Council Middle East Chapter conducted its first official meeting on 14 December 2010 from 16:00-18:00 at Olympic Headquarters in Cairo to kickoff the chapter and nominate a leadership team. The leadership team will consist of a Chapter Chair, as well as four leaders. We are looking forward to having strong leaders to carry the chapter forward. Nominated individuals should have a proven success record in supply chain and be a supply chain manager/director/executive. Although their title does not need to contain the words "supply chain", he/she could be a leader of 1-3 core supply chain processes such as Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, Return. The individual’s experience is more important than title.
